To empower veterans by providing a safe, supportive space where they can heal, learn, and thrive. This is achieved through innovative programs in art/music therapy, workforce development, and transitional housing, equipping veterans with the essential skills needed for long-term success.
Heroes (Re)Made envisions a future where all veterans have an accessible, safe location to heal, grow, and find a community as they transition into a new stage in their lives.
Heal, Learn, Grow

Our Values
Our core values are centered around the philosophy of “Living the Good Life,” which encompasses five key tenets:

Our Story
Heroes (Re)Made was founded by Derrick Love-Jones in 2024. Derrick, a service-disabled, formerly incarcerated veteran, is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. He is also the Founder and CEO of Primary Care Solutions.
Derrick founded Heroes (Re)Made to support veterans facing the same struggles he once did—by offering art therapy as a healthy way to process trauma, professional skills to help secure employment, and a place to live while they rebuild their lives. These programs empower veterans to learn, heal, and grow. Heroes (Re)Made is for all veterans struggling throughout their transition from service to civilian life.

Our Founder
Derrick Love-Jones is the Founder & Chairman of the Board at Heroes (Re)Made. He is a service-disabled veteran that contracted a rare form of cancer while serving in the U. S. Air Force.
He founded Heroes (Re)Made to give veterans struggling with unemployment, homelessness, substance abuse, or previous incarcerations what he didn’t have: accessible resources and programs to “live the good life.”
The organization provides vital resources and programs, including art and music therapy, workforce development, and transitional housing. By cultivating a supportive environment and a strong sense of community, Heroes (Re)Made empowers veterans to find stability and improve their lives.
In addition to his impactful work with Heroes (Re)Made, Derrick is the President and CEO of Primary Care Solutions (PCS). PCS is devoted to delivering high-quality healthcare services to its federal government partners. Through a network of community-based outpatient clinics nationwide, PCS offers comprehensive primary care, behavioral health services, telehealth options, and essential social support to veterans.
Derrick earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has a Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult/Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama. Derrick is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Abilene Christian University, the highest academic degree in the field.
