A Fresh Start – Rediscover Your Purpose
For many veterans, military service provides a clear mission and a defined role within a highly structured environment. Contributing to something larger than oneself is incredibly fulfilling. However, when veterans transition to civilian life, that inherent purpose can seem lost, leading to feelings of aimlessness, frustration, and a struggle to find meaning in civilian activities.
Heroes’ Guild helps veterans re-establish a strong sense of purpose. The emergent workforce development program teaches veterans marketable career skills in screen printing and embroidery. The Guild provides veterans with direction and motivation to set and achieve new goals, ultimately contributing to their overall well-being and helping them successfully reintegrate into the civilian world.
Heroes’ Guild also aims to create a sustainable social enterprise by securing contracts from corporations, government agencies, and military branches, redirecting a portion of their outsourced screen printing and embroidery work to Heroes (Re)Made. This not only provides veterans with valuable work experience, but it also funds Heroes (Re)Made programs.
